With the aim of building closer ties and understanding between the Arab speaking world and Denmark, DI was granted a project with the overall objective to strengthen the development of knowledge based economies and stable business environments in the Arab Mediterranean and Gulf region through increased regional cooperation between Business Membership Organisations.

As part of the Trade Enhancement Program, DI provided assistance to the Ready Made Garment Export Council and through this managed to establish a Policy advocacy unit, designed a Policy advocacy strategy and road map for the council, and assisted in the development of the council permanent secretariat.
