Areas of responsibility
Mette's working areas and primary areas of responsibility are business development and establishment on international markets for Danish companies. Mette provides consultancy on business plans, training plans, market analyses, and partner search and selection.
Mette is Manager for New Markets and has the overall responsibility for DIBD's activities in Asia, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America. On an operational level, Mette mainly works with Vietnam, Bangladesh, and China.
Competences and experience
Mette has been employed in DIBD since 2001. Through the years, she has had a number of different jobs within DIBD and worked with several regions. However, the majority of her work has been related to establishment of partnerships under Danida's B2B programme. Besides Asia, Mette has assisted Danish companies in forming partnerships in Africa and Latin America.
Mette has also worked comprehensively with export and other entry modes, and has developed various tools for Danish companies in connection with their internationalisation process.
Mette has travelled extensively in Asia and has also spent a longer period of time in Central America and Spain.
