Areas of responsibility 

Kinga is General Manager of DIBD's office in New York. As part of this position  she also assists Danish companies with market studies, strategic market segmentation, entry strategy development and business plans, feasibility analyses, and implementation support. Kinga helps companies avoid the pitfalls on the exciting, but also very challenging American market.          

Competences and experience

Kinga joined DIBD in September 2008, and has for the past three years been consulting Danish companies on international business development, conducting feasibility studies, market and comparative analyses, and partner searches. She has worked extensively with Danida's B2B programme, and has advised companies on strategic alliances in developing countries and emerging economies, mainly in Asia and Africa.

Prior to joining DIBD, Kinga was employed at Baltic Development Forum (BDF) for four years, working with public-private partnerships and regional development projects in the Baltic Sea Region. As Project Manager she was involved with projects related to innovation, cluster development, branding, and energy cooperation. Furthermore, Kinga has experience with export from Dat-Schaub International (now Ess-Food) where she worked in the Far Eastern department. In parallel with her studies, Kinga also worked as Key Account Manager in the IT sector. She took part of her education in Hong Kong and Mexico, where she was involved in development work and business consultancy respectively.

Kinga was born in Hungary, and has lived in North-Africa, Denmark, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Brazil. Kinga speaks Hungarian, English, Danish, and German. She is a beginner in Portuguese.
